barber

The Barber program is a comprehensive program that will provide you with the proper training in a variety of areas such as the following: cutting with shears, styling hair, modern fades, shaving techniques as well as chemicals (perms/relaxers) in order to offer clients an array of services including artistic designs using color combinations to name a few.

patient care technician

With a focus on patient care skills and life-long learning, graduates of the Patient Care Technician program will be positioned to have the skills and dispositions needed to effectively meet workplace demands.

cosmetology

Palm Beach Academy's Cosmetology Program promises our graduates the preparations to practice competently and confidently as an entry-level cosmetologist immediately upon graduation and successful completion of the state licensure exam. Our program was designed to meet all of the requirements for Florida State licensure.

Nail Technician

This program will help students meet the Florida State Board of Cosmetology mandated requirements to become a licensed Nail Technician.

medical assistant program

This program offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills, expanding the traditional role of the Medical Assistant to include front and back office skills.

massage therapy

Palm Beach Academy's Massage Therapy Program exceeds the requirements set by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy to qualify and prepare students for the approved state licensure tests. Each student will be presented the knowledge and instructed on the skills necessary to enter the field of massage therapy as an entry-level Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).

Palm Beach Academy's Skin Care Program blends technical training with a holistic approach to skin care. Our program was designed to meet and exceed all of the requirements for Florida state licensure. The curriculum at the Palm Beach Academy immerses students in a serious study of the skin along with the practice of effective skin treatments and services.

Home Health Aide

This program will provide students with the training to provide consistent quality care for patients in the home setting and returning them to pre-episodic level with disease limitations and to maximize rehabilitation level of function.

How do I get in contact with the school?

Fill out the application and admissions staff will reach out to you with more information. It is recommended that each applicant review our current School Catalog and Consumer Handbook submitting your application.

Will I receive a license after graduation?

Our graduates will be equipped to begin their careers confidently and competently as Cosmetologists, Barbers, Massage Therapists, Skin Care Specialists, and Nail Technicians. Upon successful completion of the state licensure exam—or, for Skin Care and Nail Technicians, the in-school exam and subsequent licensure application—they’ll be ready to enter the field immediately.

Do you offer Financial Aid?

We offer Federal Financial Aid for those who qualify. Also, we are able to offer a variety of options for our students to pay for their tuition while they are attending Palm Beach Academy of Health & Beauty. Assisting our students with funding options is something we do every day. The good news is it is a very simple process. Please feel free to contact us with any questions in this area. We are happy to help you make the best decision regarding your financial aid needs.

Does PBAHB offer health and beauty services to the public?

All services at the school are performed by our senior students, who have reached a level of ability necessary to perform services on the public. The students are supervised by our experienced and dedicated instructional staff. We will TRY to honor all appointments and requests with our STUDENTS. The special value we extend to you comes with the understanding that this is a SCHOOL. Our students are learning and practicing for their new career in the health & beauty industry.

PBA offers massage, hair, skin, and nail care services.

What are the requirements of being accepted to the school?

The school will determine an applicant’s eligibility based on a complete application package, personal interview, and commitment to complete their Career Program and becoming a working graduate.
